Making homemade dumplings, 餃子 “Jiaozi” (Mandarin) or “Gaau Ji” (Cantonese) wasn’t something I did growing up. My mom was often busy (sometimes working multiple jobs to provide for us) so all the dumplings I ate were frozen from the Chinese grocery store.
